TriviaEdit

  • In the spin-off game Pokémon Ultra Fire Red XD, Nutjobber has an alternate form called Nutjobber XD. It is a Ghost/Fighting type with either Cacophony or Shell Armor as an ability. The only design difference is that the XD Form loses the three hairs on its head. Its canonicity is debatable however, as the events of the game take place inside of Kanye's mind.

History Edit

Nutjobber was first posted on /vp/ on March 4th, 2014, in a thread called "Gen 7 when?". Resident shitposter CAPSLOCK posted the image at the end of the thread, and continued to do so in every Fakemon thread he saw from that point forward. Its inclusion into Clover has been rather controversial, even for a game that prides itself on being offensive.

It was given the typing of Ghost/Fairy to poke fun at Fakemon designs with special snowflake typings that don't make sense for it, a joke that is lost on many. It shares a typing with a dropped concept 'mon that shall not be named (as it is not a Clovermon).

Design OriginEdit

The design of Nutjobber and its evolution, is based off the infamous "Deez Nutz" meme.

Name OriginEdit

Its name is a combination of the words "Nut" or "Nutjob" and "Jobber," meaning someone who intends to lose.
