Trivia

  • Kuuroba has the highest effective unboosted Attack stat of any Pokémon, with a maximum of 678 (105 base Attack plus Huge Power). This is higher than the limit of 669 Attack (255 base Attack, as 255 is the highest possible 8-digit binary number), and would equal a Pokémon with 259 base Attack.
  • Despite its dex entry saying it is very manly, its female ratio is higher than its male one.
  • Its regular and shiny colorations are similar to those of Breloom, an actual Pokémon and the first Grass-Fighting one to exist.
  • Kuuroba's cry sounds very similar to, and is likely based on one of the leftover cries from Pokémon Red and Blue. It's the 0x7F on tcrf.

Name Origin

Kuroba (クローバー) is the Japanese word for "clover".
