Trivia

  • Heliofug, along with Mantrake has the highest base Attack stat of all Dragon-type Pokémon.
  • Heliofug, along with Baddon has the highest base stat total of all Dragon-type Pokémon.
  • Heliofug is the only Pokémon to give 4 EVs if defeated in battle.
  • Heliofug was derived from Honsuke, which looked similar in design. However, Honsuke's body was more akin to an European dragon's, whereas Heliofug takes the serpentine shape akin to a Chinese dragon.
